Our Story

Our company started in the living room of our house, a small house in the Villas de Devon Aire, on January 15, 2007. With 3 children and full of dreams. Aisha was 10 years old, Rayén was 7 years old and Elías had just been born in August 2006. Franco, my husband, an Industrial Engineer from FIU in Miami, and I, an Industrial Civil Engineer with a major in Information Technology.
On January 15, 2007, Franco and I got up that morning, took our daughters to school, got Elías up, I breastfed him at that time, we took turns changing his diapers, cooking, and spending time with our baby who cried at times, while Franco had phone calls.
We rented a warehouse to receive our loads, but sometimes by mistake the loads would arrive full of boxes or pallets at our house. We started with 3 potential clients, 2 from Honduras and one from Miami. We soon discovered that 2 of them would deceive us. But we still have one of those clients from Honduras, who was even at our company opening ceremony. We thank the Lord for clients like them. At that time, when clients came from abroad, we invited them to our house for dinner, so they could get to know us as we were.
Two years later we had an exceptional sale that allowed us to rent a warehouse with offices very close to home. In those years, 2007 onwards, teleworking, or remote work, or working online was not very common yet, but our work was all like that. I think we were pioneers in what would later come with Covid. So we could travel and continue working. Websites were not very common, in the Caribbean the internet was hardly used, and no client had a website or blog there, and they barely had email. In those years we traveled to visit our potential clients, and we created a blog that we still have with which we were able to attract many clients. People came from other countries looking for our address. We had clients from Ghana in Africa, Canada and Israel. And we were just starting out in Latin America, and in the second year we were already joined by several Caribbean islands, as well as countries from other continents. Today Aisha is an accountant and in recent years she has come to work with Kyrios Soter full time, after having worked as an accountant in other companies and these last 4 years as a missionary with GBUCH, 3 years living there in Chile. Rayén graduated from Hospitality & Tourism Management, and has worked with several companies in her field and for some years as a teacher in middle and high school in high-need schools. Elías is now ready to enter university to study Biomedical Engineering. All of them have worked since they were young in our company, which has given them great experience in work, leadership, organization, etc. Rayén has also worked full time at Kyrios Soter and Elías and she always find time to work in our company, even when they have other obligations, which makes our company a family business, a company that has grown with the children. They are the ones who help the most in bringing modernity, new ideas, they have developed the way of showing us through social media, new technology, they continue preparing to continue with this legacy, and maintain the values with which we have created this company. Kyrios Soter Scientific was created to serve others, not to serve ourselves, a company that is characterized by its good service, kind, friendly, that values people, that helps solve the problems of our clients, that works with honesty, trust and respect. Respect not only for our clients and suppliers, but also for the environment; recycling, reusing, reducing. Kyrios Soter also exists to help organizations that serve our communities with values like ours.
