Paraplast 5010060:

• Made of paraffin and plastic polymers, allows clean cuts and minimizes wrinkles for clear, smooth tissue specimens.

• Compatible with most solvents and staining techniques. 

• Pellet Form Melting point: 56°C (133°F) (ASTM). 

Paraplast X-tra 503002:

• Has a lower infiltration temperature that eliminates tissue “cooking,” which can cause distortion. 

• Lower viscosity permits complete infiltration, and gives exceptional ribbon continuity with flat sections free of compression distortions. 

• Pellet Form Melting point: 52°C - 50 to 54°C (122 to 129°F) (ASTM).
