We want to express our sincere gratitude to you for speaking up when you’ve been pleased with our service, products, and prices. Unfortunately, there is a tendency to write a review or file a complaint only when we are upset and need to vent our frustration. For a long time, we didn't place much importance on customer reviews because our focus was on selling abroad—primarily to Latin America and the Caribbean. In those regions, online company reviews weren't a priority; instead, value was placed on personal relationships cultivated over years through face-to-face interaction, sharing meals, and in-person visits. However, the arrival of COVID-19 brought a shift in our business as we began to grow locally. We started receiving orders through our website not just from our home city of Miami, but from across the entire United States. That is when we began to take the domestic market more seriously. We started applying to become authorized vendors for local governments and universities—processes that require formal applications. Consequently, we made a concerted effort to ask our customers to write reviews and to remind them not to forget to do so. Our market is challenging; people are busy and often delegate purchasing tasks to others, so it is easy for them to forget. That is why we deeply appreciate every one of you who has taken the time to write to us—and for sharing such kind, warm words about us as a family-owned business.
